Some of the pieces from great poets leave a lasting impression on the mind
by their rhythmic beauty and/or by their emphasis of feelings/sentiments and
the thrust of emotions.

I posted some impressions of this sort on some of Rabindranath Tagore's works
before and I believe that this is true irrespective of the language and our
TELUGU is no different. There are many pieces which fall under this category
and AcArya dEvulapalli kRshNa SAstry's "Evi tallI niruDu kurisina hima
samUhamulu..." is one among them. Here are some more impressions and my
fledgling attempts in putting them into words --

and here is an attempt at the translation of the gist --

** Who's mistake is it, that you assumed the responsibilty for ?
Who's promise is it, that you are trying to keep ??
Who's song is it, that you are setting to a sorrowful tune ?
and Who's cry is it that you are claiming a right to own ??
     Whoever may be the culprit,
Pain is the compensation paid, for having a heart !! **

Comments ? criticism ?? You are welcome..

regards..
