I always thought it was manDOdari ( or is it really maNDOdari) rather than 
mandOdari, but who am I to contest sUryaraayaandhra nighanTuvu?

In any case, I find it interesting that four of the five "kanyalu" are from 
trEtaa yugam with droupadi being the only exception.  I am also curious about 
the meaning of the term _kanyalu_ with reference to this group.  Any comments?
