it makes quite an interesting reading of how "Bava kavitvam" was
defined.
as Ram points out here, si.nA.rE in his "aadhunikAndhra kavitvamu -
sampradAyAlu,
prayOgamulu" says that bhAva kavitvam can be defined as one in which
bhAvam is given
priority among vastuvu, bhAvamu and racana - the three important facets
of any writing. while vastuvu and racana ruled the day till late 19th
century or so,
the emergence of bhAva kavitvam is such a splendid revolution which
transformed 
telugu kavitvam as never before. si.nA.rE mentions the definitions of
viSwanAtha
and SrISrI too, but none is as satisfying as the one he himself comes up
with as
described above.
