B.A.T.A Completes 25 eventful years as the premier
Telugu Organization in Bay Area
Come one and come all to witness a one-of-its-kind event that includes
a Banquet on Nov. 15th (details given below) and a Cultural Show
**** On Saturday, November 16th From 1:30PM to 8:30PM ****
At San Jose Civic Auditorium, San Jose
Enjoy a spectacular mixture of superbly choreographed dances,
hilarious skits, special events which depict and glorify
Telugu Culture, all in one single show, which would
be the biggest ever gathering of Telugu speaking
people in the bay area.
Highlights Include:
* Sitar & Veena Jugalbandi by Habib Khan and Sreekanth Chary
accompanied by Ravi Gutala on Tabla & Vamsi Kasturi on Mridangam
* Krishna Leela, a dance ballet presented together by a couple of
popular bay area dance schools
* Carnatic Vocal Recital by SriLakshmi Kolavenu
* Classical dance depicting Deewali
* Light Music by Raju Idury along with live orchestra
* Patriotic dances presented by children and youth
* Comedy items: "Mogavalley Maguvalla Ayithey?",a skit, mimicry etc.
* Fashion show
* Fast beat movie dances
* Bhangra
* Snacks and a delighting dinner (at no extra charge, cost included
in the entrance ticket fee)
Program Schedule:
1:30PM to 2:15PM - Inaugaration ceremonies
2:15 to 2:45PM - Lakshmi Puja
2:45 to 3:30PM - Cultural Programs
3:30 to 3:50PM - Break
3:50 to 5:30PM - Cultural Programs resume with Jugalbandi
5:30 to 5:50PM - Snack break -chilli pakora etc, will be served
5:50PM to 8:30PM - Cultural Programs
8:30PM - Dinner
