I dont understand why creating a dictionary for a
maaNDalikam and its preservation/propagation
through literary works or everyday usage - should
be viewed as exclusive/conflicting things.
We need both.
Some telugu magazine ( I dont remember the name,
but there are not too many !) used to carry a
column on maaNDalika padaalu. Every week they
would cover a district and cycle back.
