namastE !

I had a different impression. I remember reading that Kandukoori was among
the people who saw the premiere of Kanyasulkam (the Second edition). I
read this info in the context of his first being opposed to vyaavahaarika
bhaasha and later on changing his mind. It said that he liked this drama
even though it was in vyaavhaarika bhaasha because it had a relevant
social message in it. I had the impression he was even then involved in
Social Service of the widow remarriage kind.

Coming to where I got this info from :
I was preparing for the Civil Services examinations in particular Group 1A
as I was waiting for my US bound plans to materialize. It was then that I
had the oppurtunity of studying Bachelors level telugu literature. I
acquired material from one of the Tutorial colleges that have mushroomed
all over Hyderabad. They get the material written by eminent teachers and
literary personalities so that the material is of good quality.

I found the materials greatly educative. It is a different matter that
some of the stuff in there was geared towards the questions that are
likely to be asked in these exams. On the whole the material is of good
quality and very informative and educative.

My "ghOsha" is that if anyboody is interested in getting some literary
material from India he/she might want to check these out, obtain these
or equivalent materials and let us have some of the well researched
articles and essays from them.

Thanks for y'all's time !
