namastE !

Glad to see this topic !

Me and my roommates are big fans of these kind of 'sineemaa expressions'.
Well, we tend to be partial to the funny ones(who isn't !).

We get great fun out of the dialogues of films like "Mayabazar",
"Gundamma Katha", "Mutyala muggu", and the like.

Well some of the funny ones are:

"evaDoo puTTincakunDaa maaTalelaa puDataayi ... veyyi veeDiki .. renDu
(veera taaLLu) " --- Mayabazar

" mukkOpaaniki viruguDu mukha stuti unDanE undigaa " --- Mayabazar

" 'paalallO neeLLu kalipinanduku ... nelalu jailu siksha '
paalallO neeLLu kaaka kirasanaayilu kaluputaaraa ?!" --- Gundamma katha

I personally think the dialogues by Sri Modukuri Johnson in
"Rajadhiraju" are fantastic. The satire is razor sharp and cuts right
to one's intellect.

a funny bit from the song "kottaa dEvuDanDee .."

" nettina cEtulu peDataaDanDee nettee neTTukoni oorEganDi "

I am sure there will be more coming in !
