	According to legend, this refers to 
Telugu raayalu, the kaTakapaala (Police chief?) of vidyaanagaraa, the 
same one blessed in the 'dhaaTee ghOTaka...Samparaayani telungaa, neeku 
brahmaayuvou' (veteran SCITters ought to remember this), and the very one 
Sreenaatha asked for the kastoorikaa bhiksha from.

	pedakOmaTi vEmareDDi is also called veeranaaraayaNa. But, I don't
