I think so much anger is not necessary as no one said anything
against Gaddar, his poetry, his sincerity, honesty, charisma or
anything. When Gaddar sang and danced on stage and made people
sing with him, you can't say "Look! They are just carried away
by the lilt of his music but are totally indifferent to the message!"
If a person, interested in chandas saw that in Gaddar's song,
why should one be so upset about it? It is that person's interest
and there is nothing controversial or anti-Gaddar in it.
