HINDU TEACHER GIVEN AWARD
Panduranga Shastri Athale pioneer of Swadhyaya, self study of Sanskrit
and propagated this movement across 100, 000 villages in India was
awarded $1.2 million Templeton Prize for progress in Religion.
He join the ranks of Mother Theresa, Rev Billi Graham and Alexander
Solzhenitsyn who are the earlier winners of this award.
Can somebody throw light on this Pandit's movement.
