Here is my
- I don't know why everyone keeps referring to 2 cents ;
they never seem to go beyond that amount; Still if I collected all
the 2 cents that were on offer I bet I would make myself a neat sum !
Seriously is it the equivalent of 'do kowdi' in hindi ?!!
-
ardhaNa worth !
Why don't we keep enriching the archives of the Telugu literary page ?
Why doesn't someone write an informative - hopefully well researched -
piece every month or so, on literary personalities or literary forms or
any such thing ? With due consideration for copyright infringements
why doesn't someone make available well known literary works on-line ?
I know people have put in some effort in this direction already.
But I see the pace has slowed some. I don't think there have been any
recent additions to the Literary page. Come forward ye stalwarts.
Make it a point to do something substantial atleast once a month.
I will not say instead of, but along with the discussions on telusa,
let us have some fiction or a researched essay say, once a month to add to
the literary page.
What have I done ?
( sorry for the shameless advertisement !)
I am trying to put up the sumati sataka padyams online. I also have
several padyams from various major literary works - only from puraaNa
kavulu for now : I will soon have some modern poetry in there - in my
homepage.
I also have a list of the film songs based on classical raagas from
telugu films, compiled sometime back on SCIT, in html form.

Hope my exhortations strike the right chord.
