This discussion (of the meaning behind naaree naaree naDuma
muraaree) reminds me of two things:
1) vEloori's recent comments (paraphrasing naaraa, I believe) in the
Sringaara in bhakti literature thread that the reader himself supplies the
meaning; and
2) a comment attributed to rabeendranaath TaagOre who apparently
said after reading Dr. S. raadhaakrishNan's commentary on TaagOre's
geetaanjali, "I wasn't aware that I had this much of philosophy in me
until I read this comemntary" :-)
