:>This is by Sriinaadha.
:>
:> tinDi kari pilla pOruna mEka pilla

I read it as

mEtakAri pilla raNamuna mEka pilla

:> paarubOtu tanambuna pandi pilla
:> ella panulanu cherupanga pilla pilla
^^^^^
pilli

:> andamuna kOti pilla - aa arava pilla.

:>
:>I do not whether this is really Sriinatha who wrote this poem.
:>But the way it makes fun of an arava pilla is in bad taste.
:>(Kindly do not think I have any thing against tamilians!)
:>I am just quoting the poem.

In fact, SrInAthA was very politically incorrect. He has put down
various classes of people (his cATuvu about "purOhitulinTa krityamul"),
their culture and food habits (about tamilians - "tolutanE vaDDinturu
doDDa miriYapu cAru"; then about kannadigas - the famous "tallI,
kannaDa rAjYalakshmi! dayalEdA nEnu SrInathuDan", etc); various
regions (like palnATi seema) in a very supercilious manner. He did
not spare anybody or anything he did not like....
