It seems that I made the mistake of assuming that Madhav gaaru
endorsed VSN's opinion when he enthusisatically quoted that opinion during
the height of the chinnya soori debate. I didn't realize that Madhav
gaaru was engaging in speculating on how 'VSN would have reconsidered his
statement if he knew about the recent happenings'. (In my defense, I
must say that there wasn't even a clue that such was the case). Since VSN
was alive during the SreekaakuLam movment and the birth of virasam, I
would have assumed that he (VSN) had enough opportunity to reconsider his
views about what he should call the 'goppa' kavitvamu of a viplava kavi. Since
Madhav gaaru did not mention what other 'recent' happenings these were, and
also how VSN may have changed his opinion, I refuse to speculate further. I
am sure Madhav gaaru will tell us about it in due course. (While Madhav
gaaru is speculating about VSN's possible reconsiderations, do you think I
should ask him for his opinion on what the stock market is going to do
next year?)
And speaking of maadhav gaari aaraadhana for Srisri, I must say
that I am truly impressed by his expression of it. I can honestly say
that I haven't seen such aaraadhana before.

Very true! Madhav gaaru (and I) have the complete freedom
to think over and decide from our own understanding about anything,
be it danDin's lakshaNa Saastra, Jan Myrdal's appreciation of
Srisri or P. Sambasiva Rao's deprecation of Srisri!
(BTW, should I think maadhav gaaru quoted that poem because it
was expressing / supporting his views or was it because he was
speculating on how that poem should be reconsidered?)

Huh?

I have no idea. Where is it?

You are welcome. Consider it as being on the house!

Thank you for sharing them with us.
You have to pardon my ignorance. I don't know much about pOtukooci
saambasiva raavu. Is he somebody that understands Marxism fully? I didn't
know that pOtukooci saambaSiva raavu conducted the World Telugu Conference.
Was he the one that got SreeSree and ten other writers arrested during the
1975 WTC? What other interesting things does he have to say
about SreeSree? Did he tell you about SreeSree's drinking and debauchery too?
If he didn't, you can read all about it in SreeSree's autobiography
'anantam'. BTW, saambaasiva raavu gaari sense of time may be a little
off. viSaalaandhra came into being in 1952. SreeSree was already very verrry
famous by that time. He even wrote his first movie song by then!
