I am not sure what is the sense in which 'easy to read' is
used here. Some works like kAleepaTnam rAmA rAvu or ko.ku. are difficult to
read for the average reader because they force one to think. Works like
pArijAtApaharNamu are difficult to read because they drive an average
reader to dictionary.
While I am willing to treasure and respect the old works for their historic
value, I don't find much value in continuing to wrote in old style. Enhancing
one's vocabulary has a point when each word brings a new concept with it.
What is the point in calling a lotus payOruhamu except to satisfy chandassu?
