sometime ago, i posted an emki pATa, "yer''r''i nA yemki", with the
hope that peddalu like vEluri garu would take up the discussion and tell
us some interesting details on such beautiful works. unfortunately, the thread
never got started.
i had the chance to read "emki pATalu"(never heard them sung though),
but could never get to read "kUnalamma padAlu", "bangaarimaama paaTalu" and
the like. my interest in "jAnapada sAhityam" was also hightened by
SrI pulikamTi kRshNA reddi gAri upanyAsam at TANA'95(chicago).
i really liked his piece "tapAla tAttayya, enta mancODayyA!.."(can
anyone post the full song and the title of the book). being away
from AP, my access to books is very limited. it would be nice
if we can get to know more about these wonderful songs through telusa.

he was referring to "cilipi padyalu". can't we extend it to
"cilipi pATalu" too? as he said, do "keep 'em coming".
