prasa'damoo!

tEmkulu ba'v!

That was a nice recollection of Meenakshi Ponnudurai!
Thanks a lot for reminding me of Sri Modukuri Johnson!
Yes! I agree with you! A great writer.

You are right! There is a large # of very good songs on
Christianity in Telugu. I also think SP sang some for
the Vijayachandar's movie (oooooops! No movie stuff!
Only Candassu stuff belongs here!).

If you recollect any more writers, please post here.

The one guy, Akkineni Rajamallayya - I can not forget this
character from Jagityala. Thanks Prasad! That guy ..
Had a full time job just to ask questions on radio shows.
Every day, you could hear a request from Akkineni Rajamallayya
on Radio Srilanka where Meenakshi was a host. You could also
hear him on the Hindi show of Radio Ceylon. Surprisingly this
guy used to write requests on Vividha Bharati. Guess what?
Do you know one program from AIR Vijayawada and Waltair -
polampanulu? The great Akkineni Rajamallayya used to be present
there also, on a daily basis, with a request.

There was a joke made by cousin, Satyavada Manilal once.
This goes like this:

Visakhapatnam AIR - Show Polampanulu
Time : Around 8:45 am

Host: Jagitya'la numci Sri akkinEni ra'jamallayya ga'ru
adugutunna'ru - va'ri kOLLu gruDlu peDutOmdaTa, ka'nii
a' gruDlu ma'tram avi podagaDamlEdaTa. Em cEyamamTa'ru miiru?

Guest: oka pani cEyamDii ra'jamallayya ga'roo.
emDu gaDDi kOLLa sa'lalO paraci, da'ni miida gruDlu vumci,
miiru va'Ti miida koorconi, podagamDi.

(got fed up with Rajamallayya's questions).

Thanks Tata!
