Thanks to Sri Mohana Rao garu, Sadanandagaru and Sri Ram for giving
a thought about the pooraNa.
Arya Mohan Raogaru,
It is true that Sufi philosophers think of Madhuvu. I love Sufi ghazals.
Here is the one I like the most.
"mujhE maikash samajhtAhi sab bAdAkash,
kyOMki unkee taraH na laD khaDAtAhu mE"
"mErE ragrag me nashE mohAbbatkA hai
bAt samajh me na AyEtO mai kyA karu"
each and every booser thinks that I am the greatest booser.
Because I never totter like them.
All limbs of my body are intoxicated by Love.
If you can't understand this, what can I do ?
(Here the philosopher says that infact he is not a booser, but
intoxicated by the love, and people usually mis-understand him
as a Drunkerd!)
Anyone wants : listen to Sri Pankaj Udhas's "nasheela" audio cassette,
beautiful songs on "sArA" are there :-)

Giving below my pooraNa.
SA: Sree rAmA bhavanASa hEtuvagu nee Sreedivya nAmaMbu nE

sA, rAmA! nanu mAnuToppaguna! satcAritra bhaMgaMbagun.
Dear rAmA! for ever I shall chant your divine name, which is the
destroyer of all evil. On this earth, with flawless grace, you are
protecting them who ever calls you as "My Rama". You live in Saketa,
Rama, is that a right thing to disown me! If so, your divine history
shall go futile.
(nanu = me, mAnuTa = to disown)
(Excuse me for the bumpy tanslation)
----------
On Vempati Ravi Sankar's interest I kept "rAmA" intact in each line.
He was here to perform "hara vilasam" dance drama. After the show
I drove him to Andhra Mahasabha. On the way while discussing about
the padya pooraNa, I told him about the new samasya. He asked me whether
it is possible to keep the "dviakshara prAsa" hence this composition.
BTW, Vempati Ravi is known to the world as a famous Kuchipudi artist.
But, few people knew that he is a good song writer too. When ever he
comes to Bombay or I go there we discuss about his new writings.
I wanted to introduce his songs (On Lord Siva) to you at a later
time.
=============
Dear Ram,
I think my invitation was clear but venue was not clear.
I said I am taking a vow, but, I did not say that my vow is in
the last line (sorry for the "tarkaM"). Watch out! my vow is
in the first line of my poem :-) Got it!
