Thanks to Pamidighantam Sudhakar for giving mentioning the book on regional
dialects. Would he also give us some more details of the book?

Once in a while, when something like this happens, someone gives information
about a relevant book. It may be difficult if not impossible for even
the person most interested in the topic, to obtain the book with dispatch.

In such maters, and particularly wrt dictionaries, I have a request to
make, to all the people reading this mail. If you have a reference book of
some sort, a dictionary, a definitive book on a topic (for example, VVR
has a set of books on lakshaNa SAstra, which he makes good use of; some one
else may have all/most of the books by viSwanAdha [mea culpa]; some/many
have the collected works of SrISrI, ...), would you be willing to be
included in a directory of sorts? We'll see if we can post this list
on the homepage (I am thinking aloud here - there may be better ways of
doing it). Then when someone has a question as to the meaning of a word,
they know who they can send a mail to. Of course all of this is on a
voluntary basis. No commitments, no promises.

I may be the first one to ask for a three later word x-mA-ka, meaning
triSUlam. No, Sabda ratnAkaram is of no use. sUryarAyAndhra nighanTuvu, or
SabdArtha candrika may be of some help.

Tomorrow I will list some books that I have that might fit this purpose.
