Here I was hoping that you would give me the correct title of the
story/play :((

A while ago, I read a first person account by buccibbabu's wife,
Sivaraaju Subbalakshmi, (in Andhra Prabha weekly I think) talking about
the radio play by buccibaabu about the forbidden tryst of a palace maid
in Krishnadeva Raya's queen's palace, and how that play formed the basis
for malleeSwari. So, Randor Guy appears to be right. (The title of the play
begins with 'raayala vaari antaHpura...", I can't recall the complete one).

Isn't this uppala lakshmaNa raavu?

Here's one more trivia question. The book 'maalapalli' has another
name. What is it?
