Part of the problem, if I may say that, is the expectation that the
discussions on this forum will be stimulating, thought provoking etc.
I am sure some of you think they are. Now, how can I say this, that my
problem is not with what is going on on Telusa but with what is not going
on! When a stirring poem by Jayaprabha on today's realities appears on
Telusa, there is little or no discussion, but we have a stream of posts
on Potana's poems! May be I should repeat what I said so that I am not
misunderstood. I love Potana's poems too. But what did you think of
Jayaprabha's poem, the one on the death of farmers? Can you be stirred by
Potana's poems and not by Jayaprabha's? How can you be not stirred by a
poem so heart wrenching, but moved by a poem for which you are not fully
sure of the meaning, leave alone a message? How can you be moved by
something quite removed from you and not by something very real and deals
with today's surroundings? Either I am asking the wrong questions or I am
addressing the wrong audience. Either way, this post is not meant to
provoke anybody, just to express some pain.

Sitaramayya Ari.
