I do not know any assigned meanings of Sita. 
It could be a free word. 
 
 
Rmana: Doesn't 'Sita' mean sharp as in 'Sita sAyakammulu' ? 
 
Answer: No, it does not. Because the proper usage of the above is 
    niSita sAyakamulu 
where niSita means sharp as expected. (sAyakamu= arrow) 
 
So SIta is stll free!!
