Let me also chip in. I like roeLLa sandhyaa daevi a lot more now
than i liked yaddanapooDi then!

I am encouraged to believe that the originator of this thread has
atleat as good, if not better, reasons to do the same. 
As this "hero quotient" is down, only RSD's novels
will be the ones that give us a badly-needed boost!

All her heroes are in their early-thirties!
Not truant-playing students nor chain-smoking&deeply-thinking detectives 
nor car-dashing magnates!

They travel by coromandel express, by city-bus. They occasionally
walk! They never disappoint you! Everything goes as you planned!

There is only one problem! I should've been a kRshNa++ and my wife
a Hari++
