teepirAgAla kOkilammaku nalla raMgunalaminavADinEmi kOrEdi....

I do not know whether Sitarama Sastrygaru likes "nalla raMgu" or not.
You got to ask him personally :-)

But, I wanted to convey something related to poetic expression:

A Poet sometime writes something, sounding as if he was contradicting
with his own belief!

But, in reality the poet identifies himself with the subject
he is writing. he submerges his ego into his character's. He feels for his
character. He undergoes the agony for the character. He thinks for the
character.

1) "kalaDukalaMDaneDivADu kalaDOlEDO" from our Bhagavatam. This famous
poem from Bhagawatam led many critics to speculate that Potana might be
an atheist! Some people even went further saying that why on earth should
he express that sentence when he is a believer!

"bhagavaMtuDu unnADA lEDA?" - this doubt is expressed by a character of
Potana, but not by him! (Though I haven't yet got a clue of "where do we
draw the line")

2) SriSri wrote movie songs that convey the contrary meaning to his
"padMDi muMduku padaMDi tOsuku"... voice!

3) Sirivennela Sitaramasastry made the blind man sing "teepirAgAlA
kOkilammaku nallaraMgunalaminavADi nEmi kOrEdi?".....

What does he mean here? When did the blind man see the kOkila? Perhaps,
he must have heard from someone that kOkila is black!

Anyway, I really liked that song. Perhaps, there is a symbolism
hidden behind mentioning the Black colour of Kokila! Let me guess,
the singer is a blind man... he is fond of that herione (munmunsen!). He
can listen to her voice but could not see her! Because everything is black
for him. Lord Siva made him blind. So our hero can listen to munmunsen...
but could see only black color. "SivuDEnannu kAvAlani guDDivADigA
cEsinappuDu iMka Ayananu Emani aDigEdi!" this might be Sastrygari thinking!

BTW, Sri Visvanathgaru shown munmunsen at this point of the song?
