I thought "jaalam" not infrequently means "collection", as in
"padajaalam". The sense you indicated occurs in "indrajaalam" or
"maayaajaalam", but I wonder if the "indra-" or "maayaa-" prefixes have
something to do with its acquiring "a sense of magic".
In the sense of a collection, how about "conceptual space" or "thematic
array" or some such?

Anybody know if this is a problem with telusa-scit or SCIT auto-moderation software? I rule out a problem with my site because it does get a (noticeably) small number of postings on SCIT everyday.
