Honestly, I see more of adverse criticism of traditional poetry
by modernists than the other way round. And when I see it,
it is often in bad taste. Even if I am not right, and if traditionalists
are guilty of the same thing, is that a justification for the other party
to commit the same mistake all the time and without provocation?
A quick extempore response in a verbal encounter is different from a
committed, sustained and subjective attack.
In a lighter vein, though I know what you mean, how can a traditionalist
have antipathy for cultural heritage? Then, how can he be a
traditionalist?
