when i advised venkata subrahmanyam, a close friend of mine from my
college at nimmakur, to probe the telusaers for answers to his
questions on daSAvatArAlu, little did i realise that this topic
would turn into a discussion on buddhism. not that the latter is
unimportant, but i was expecting atleast one reply with the answers
to venkat's queries.
i expected some nice poems from bhAgavatam
quoted in this context.(if i remember correctly, pOtana describes
daSavatArAlu). i also wonder if someone can provide us with the jayadeva
ashTapadi on daSAvatArAlu (although it was pointed out that he has
his own 'personalised' list :-)). i remember pillalamarri gAru
writing in scit on the depiction of daSAvatArAlu by vempaTi
group just after tana'94. i searched for them on the archives,
but it seems like they were written before telusa was born.
ramakrishna gArU- can u forward those articles(if u had saved them till
now) to venkat?
