Popular Telugu Songs in 1996

Again Don't blame me for posting Cinema related topics on TELUSA.
I read with interest an item posted on IndiaNet that Top 10 hit songs in
Telugu Movies. Interesting thing is at least Two out off 10 songs are
dubbing songs.
Telephone Dhwani Laa........(bharateeyudu)
some song from Muttu.
Remembering the dubbing songs like
Daivame Daivame in Koteeswarudu ( Can you imagine Shivaji Ganeshan
with Major Sounder Rajan Voice) Looks like dubbing songs came long
way.
Now my questions to Telugu Literary/Movie pundits is
is the standards of the dubbing songs went very high or
our literary standards fell down to PAATALAM
Looks like talented people Vennelakanti doing a good job.
Personally I am quite disturbed that not a original Telugu song made a
mark on the other hand I am quite happy to hear Melodious songs from
Pellisandadi, Mavi Chiguru and Vinodam
Again Maa Perati JaamChettu Pallu song is a direct lift from Sri Variki
Premalekha, the trick is K.Rghavender Rao have the talent to show as if
it is his original song.
I am just curious whether some one can through a light on Any of our
Telugu Song writers (we can not classify them totally as poets) wrote
songs for any other language movies. This seems to be unlikely as for
every writer we have a counterpart in Tamil Nadu like Subramanya
Bharati for Sri Sri, Viru Muttu for Veturi etc.
I am just curious again whether Kavi Samrat Viswantha SathyaNarayana
wrote songs in any movie other than EKAVEERA.
