Another way of looking at this process is:

Couple of years ago, when samasyA-pURaNa was a hot thread on this group, I
meant to post something to the following effect.

In this exercise, there are two distinct parts. One is to "resolve" the
puzzling aspect of the samasya, and add some narrative to it, to make sense
out of it; all in "text" mode. The second is to cast this narrative in the
appropriate metrical structure.

The first part could be very easy or difficult. For example, the samasya
"kAramu teeyanganunDu .." was perceived by all to be realtively easy, as
the word kAramu could be made part of a longer word, alan-kAramu,
camat-kAramu, ... Whereas, the samasya "sItA, rAmunikiTlonarchedave yissI
drOhamillAlavai !" is quite a bit more difficult to resolve.

The second part is of a standard level of difficulty, unless some dushkara
prAsa is involved. I remember "sadbrAhmaNu DEla .." given mEDasAni mOhan at
Atlanta (by pudoor jagadeeSwaran, himself an avadhAni), and
"First-class-una payanamayye bhAmAmaNitOn" of sadAnanda fame. However, I
would call this part as merely "technical", having to do with following the
chandO-rules.

So, while many readers of the group would be able to complete the first
part, only some, chandO-friendly people would complete the whole process.
However, why should this deter the first group of people?

So, I (wanted to) propose that everybody interested, could take part in
this "samasyA-pUraNa" process, as far as the first part is concerned. One
need not stop because of the chandO-intimidation!

So, kamalA, take a break from the thesis, and go at it!

PS: As an example, and illustrating one of the techniques adopted by
avadhAnis in tackling samasyas such as "garuDuDu gaNapatiki tanDrigAvale
summI", here is a phase-I solution.

	Question-1: vishNu moorti vAhanamu evaru?
Question-2: vighnamulanu tolagincaDAniki evariki pUja cEstAmu?
	Question-3: janakuDu seetaku Emi avutADu?
	 Answers: garuDuDu, gaNapatiki, tanDrigAvale summee
