Another option is to let Reference.com archive telusA messages.
Reference.com archives public mailing lists for free. Their interface
is not bad and searching is quite easy. Check out SASIALIT's
archive on Reference.com at:
http://www.reference.com/cgi-bin/pn/go?choice=Search&search=advanced&groups=%22SASIALIT@listserv.rice.edu%22&mode=Extended&ranking=Date
(All on one line, no spaces)
BTW, existing telusA archives can be searched using
Altavista. Restricting the host to smartcad.me.wisc.edu is the trick.
For example, to search for the phrase "kalupu mokkalu", the following
query string can be used.
+"kalupu mokkalu" +host:smartcad.me.wisc.edu +url:telusa
(Quotes around kalupu mokkalu are required. The term "url:telusa"
effectively restricts the search to the telusa archives.)
The search may produce a few redundant results because Altavista's
search engine indexes the html pages but not the underlying archive of
messages.
