hi,
wow! never thought it sounded chauvinistic. i have a lot of non-telugu
friends and i would say this to them 
(actually there is poem by subrahmanya Bharathi saying that if you
want to write telugu is the language (or words
to the same effect)). 

you got to be proud about your language i guess, everybody has their
strengths.
