I was expecting that Sreenaatha's name would come into the discussion!
As I could, meanwhile, check, the above poem is undoubtedly from
_kreeDaabhiraamam_. Now, comes the BIG question of its authorship.
Though Veturi Prabhakara Sastry convinced majority of the Teugu scholarship
that Srinatha was involved in creation of this popular work, its not
definitively proved that Sreenaatha was the author. The last verse of this
294 stanza long work, unmistakably acknowledges Vallabharaaya as the author.
Also, the _chaaTu-s_ from the oral tradition, say that both Srinatha and
Vallabharaya were contemporaries and well befriended. Its my feeling that the
'popular' poems were attributed to Srinatha and those "highly erotic" ones to
his friend, as a mahaakavi like Srinatha won't write such eroticised stuff.
Digressing slightly from the main point; i.e. the authorship, let me say that
its a work, which describes the social life - traditions, customs - of Reddi
raaja s' times in meticulous fashion.

Sreenivas
