I need some rudimentary information on the proposed ISCII(?) character
set. How many bits (or in other words, how many characters can it
represent)?

PS: I need this information (no elaborate treatise on ISCII needed) by
tomorrow morning at the latest. AFter that, it will be still useful,
but my life wouldn't no more depend on that!
