its true that cross-posts pose the biggest problems.
but if we try to get rid of them alone, then the
creative minds of net abusers will work on the
left over loopholes. the only way is to leave no such
loopholes.
no one will have a problem if there are 25 posts per day
on telugu literature by a single sciter. i would be interested to
know if any of telusa's veternan sciters have ever
posted more than 5 to 6 relevent articles on a single day.
anyway, this wasn't a original suggestion by me.
when suresh wrote that soc.religion.vaishnava
was succesful with auto-moderation, i was explaining
the elaborate scheme used by them to achieve that success.
