FWIW, I now withdraw my opposition, having reluctantly come to
the conclusion that there appears to be no other way. other s.c.* groups
are going the same route, and the present situation of scit is impossible.
We might as well not have scit.
It may be helpful to run the RFD by group-mentors so as to polish it up,
to forestall objections during the RFD process.
