A Poetry Journal : paatakottala maelukalayika

Hello Friedns & Comrades,

        Good news for lit.lovers.
        
        There is a literary journal (poetry_exclusive)
        coming from Bangalore. It's name is Caitanya Kavita.
        Sree Tangirala Subara Rao (he was the postman on whose
        request and to whom Tilak wrote and dedicated his
        poem tapaala banTrotu) and Sree RVS Sundaram are its
        editors. About two/three issues a year. 

        This journal is unique in that it publishes the
        picture of a poet on its cover-page.

        Let me give you a feel of what the journal is like.

        Started in 1986. 2/3 issues a year.

        The last three issuses commemmorated
        feminism with jayaprabha's photograf on one,
        sree nanDoori raamakrishnamaacaarya on another
        and Mr J BapuReddy (IAS) on the other.

        In the past, the journal highlighted :

        Guntoori Seshendra Sarma, Avantsa Somasundar,
        Arudra, Dr C Narayana Reddy, K SivaReddy,
        Vegunta Mohan Prasad et al.

        It almost always publishes chhandoe poetry and
        verse libre too. Translations also.
        (Dear chhanode lovers, you won't be disappointed)

        It badly needs subscribers. 
        The editors look out for
        #bhoori viraaLaalu bhaareegaa iccae vaaLLu#
        and good poems to help sustain the journal
        and improve its quality.

        I believe that you can be one and that you can
        get it more subscribers.
