sorry for proceeding on a digression, but i just
couldn't resist it. pricipia is such a badly written
(or should i say, drawn :-)) work, so confusing with
its endless diagrams that Lagrange started his famous
book on analytical dynamics with the words...
This book does not have any diagrams :-)
yes, he wrote a complete masterpiece with absolutely no diagrams.
i heard lots of such anecdotes from my professors at kharagpur and
will share them in a much more appropriate forum sometime.
i wonder if this mail will make it to telusa as i am
not posting it from acm6.me.uiuc.edu. i am now, and for the

read that as "at koDakO" as in "bhadram koDakO" :-)
