Sri Ari Sitaramayya gaaru asks!

First of all, the message of Gita is aimed at ones own spiritual
unfoldment and has nothing to do with either dividing the society or
cunningly exploiting it. It is a treatise expounding to confused and
confounded Arjuna, the way and means by which he can know his own real
nature and respond to both outer and inner challenges that benumbed him.
If you had any patience or even curiosity to even know or understand
what the Sloka meant, and read the commentary that followed, you would not have
come to this gross and stupendous conclusion. Women, Vaisyas and Sudras
are used to indicate not anyone outside us, but only the tendencies
within us. "Women" symbolise the physical weakness, "Vaisya" the
tendency to always look for materialistic profit, and the "Sudra" to
indicate the "tamasic"-lethargy tendency within us. Even if one is
afflicted by any or all, by dedicating all his/her actions to Him,
without expecting any results are fruits hereafter, they shall reach Me-
is the 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed Statement of Lord Krishna.
No great work, be it in the art, literature or even Science can be
read and rightly understood without understanding the terminology used
and the spirit in which it is used. Gita expounds Universal Truth,
unconditioned by Space or Time realms. It guides, prods and shows us how
every being is Divine, and how the Divinity is permeating the entire
world of beings and the cosmos. If Krisha showed the Viraat-Viswaroopa
in which all the worlds, galaxies, stars and constellations, including
all the plant, animal kingdoms including all of humanity as just a
part of his Form, how can we even imagine to conclude that He would call
His own parts of certain Forms as "sin or insane" ?!
The pitiable present predicament of us, where women are ill-treated, poor
are suppressed, and the cries and tears of helpless, homeless children are
ignored- would not have happened, atleast we would not have come to the
degrading depths of dehumanizing our own species, if we atleast had the
strength to remember even a little of that ancient message that the Divinity
dwells in everyone and not just in the altars of chosen temples.
Reading Gita just by using Dictionary, without understanding the significance
and symbolism of the terminology used, is like trying to understand
Newton's Principia of Mathematica using English Dictionary!
