Prabhaakar gaaru is right. While giving intoduction to my father's poems
on budabudakkala vaadu and the sainikuniki Prattaramu, I conveniently used
the word so-called or apparent "non-chando" padyamulu - they in fact fall
under maatraa chandassu and so is Shree Shree padaalu I have read so far
that were posted. To claim that padyaalu with maatraa chandassu is new is
also not right. My father used to quate some very old ones but I fogot
their source. Can one provide poems with maatraa chandassu that were from
previous centuries.
Thanks to Sri Prabhakar for givnig an excellent panoramic view of chandas.
While you are at it, can you give us an educational article on yati
relations for telugu, which seems somewhat more stringent than in sanskrit.
A tabular form may be - for easy reference for all possible yaties allowed.
