On Relevancy

The recent posts (in the past couple of weeks or so) around Volga fall into
two categories. Her writings, and her social work.

While any posts discussing her writings is relevant for TELUSA, any
discussion of her social agenda, is not. That is not to say that it
doesn't merit discussion. It does, in spades. But in another forum.
Perhaps SCIT, perhaps Telugu Vani, or any other general purpose
forum that I am not aware of.

Some of you might say the two subjects, as far as this personality
is concerned, are intertwined. Even if that were the case, clearly
some of the recent posts about her are not. I raised this matter
off the group with one or two people. The promised "connecting-up"
did not materialize, in my understanding.

When you want to post sopmething, please consider the relevancy. It is
not just enough that your response is to what was a "relevant" post.
The threads have a way of meandering into irrelevancy.

Again, the "relevancy" is not in the absolute sense, but only so far
as it relates to the content of this group.

As far as I am concerned, I am faced with the same dilemma sometimes.
There have been some ocasions recently when I went and posted stuff
on Telugu Vani alone. I am told that I could do the same with SCIT,
but if I post something there, I have no way of looking it up, and
any responses to it. Despite some hints of how I may do this, using
NetScape, I haven't been successful.
