Here is a simple (simple-mimded) interpretation of events described and
the timing.

Afer pasting posters, he came to her in "toli poddu cheekatloe."
Police came and took him away in the next few moments.
It took her a few moments to "raavani maatram telisina chaedu
jnaapakam."

She, who was hitherto not actively connected with the "udyamam", made up
her mind as "toli sandhya kaanthi" breaks the darkness. This image could
mean, I believe that is what she meant, that the dark period of her life
was over, and that she saw the light.

"nee vartamaanaanni moastoo naenu gaDapa daaTina Jnaapakam" may simply
mean that she got over her passivity and crossed the treshold to take into
the world his message.

Beautiful poem!

regards,
Sitaramayya Ari.
