I was really shocked to see things like; German has 2000 letters. And that
too teaching to children!!
1. In comp. to English, German has only four extra letters;
ae, ue, oe and ss (ä, ü, ö and ß).
And German type-writers exist very much! It "may" be true in the case of
languages like; Chinese (even Japanese people use modern script(s) we
already had a thread on it, with detailed posting by Madan Parigi ...).
2. All history books, that I read, put the death toll from WW-2 at
65 million.
3. First raamaayaNam in telugu is: ranganaatha raamaayaNam (gOna
buddhaareDDi). Is it a settled issue?
