     Dear Vasu,
     
     I was not surprised that you misunderstood me :-)
     
     I very much mean "diddly"... not *deadly*.
     
     
     Coming to the point:  I read amaravathi kadhalu almost 10 years back.
     As I told you earlier, I don't know why I didn't like that book.  
     Neither I have that book, right now, to read and to have a second 
     opinion :-)  
     
     Anyway, I am not one of those who believe that "FIRST IMPRESSION IS 
     THE BEST IMPRESSION"... May be there is something in those stories 
     that didn't impress me when I was 20!!!  I have to read the book 
     again.  I am reading the articles by Sri Chowdarygaru.  Let us wait 
     till he finishes.  May be, he is right in comparing the stories with 
     AvakAya paccaDi!!
