I personally blame a highly democratic internet for this sorry state
of things. Lets hope that some next generation newsfilters will be
intelligent enough to measure our IQs and filter for us the Dalys, Bretons,
Picassos and Gigers automatically and retain only those #AndhrakavitA
martAnDAlu, vEdanDAlu, ganDabhErunDAlu# on display. Eventually, one day,
these 'intelligent' newsfilters will automatically clap cymbals, sing
hymns and gyrate their faceless torsos with precessing hands contorted
into the shapes of sinewy #telugu AmrEDitAlu# in praise of the French
surrealists. That should also save my precious intellect from a lot of
editing trouble. (I already imagine a surrealistic display device that
does all this for me for less than Rs.10.00 a piece, displaying bright
telugu font). Till then, duMMMiest me, cant help confusing those half
eaten layers of cinema posters on my high school walls, those piercing
beeps from closed radio channels, those content free internet spoonerisms
and my epileptic cousin's delirium with the best of surrealism.
