1) I agree, but I am curious whether can we apply this to all the words like :
sahaayam (Help), sahajam (natural) etc.

2) Are the words in any language derived by adding bits like any other
object in the universe with atom (even smaller)
as a building block?

Thanks

Just a reminder, I am in no way authoritative on this subject. Hence, I
will leave your second question to the more authoritative scholars on this
net.

Coming to the meanings of the words:

a) We should read "sahaayaM" as "saha+ayam". when literally translated in
to telugu we get the meaning "vaaritOgooDina". saha=kalisiyunna. That is
why, it is called as "sahaayaM" cooperation.

b) sahajaM : This also follows the same words split i.e.. "saha+jaM".

Here, jaM = that which is born (puTTinadi). That is why, we use the words
like "sahaja guNAlu" - born instincts. (The instincts that we carried along
with our birth).
