Dr. Gavarasana Satyanarayana is a vRtti-reetyA DAkTaru, vyAvRtti-reetyA
telugu bhAshA/bhOjana abhimA(ni)ni(1). He was one of the
founders/publishers/editors (2) of what must have been the very first
circulated Telugu "timely" (I am not sure I remember the periodicity of it)
magazine in US, back in the early seventies. He occasionally writes in the
premier telugu literary monthly, "telugu jyOti", published by TFAS (3) from
NY/NJ. He is conducting a survey, the purpose of which he describes below.
Please send your responses to him soon. Though the Symposium (4) he ie
referring to is in next May, a spate of responses at this stage is bound to
give him a satisfying boost.

Opinion Survey - Future of Telugu Language in USA.

Telugu language in US. Please help us with your answers. The results of
this Survey will be presented at the First Telugu Literary Symposium of
America, May 23-24, 98, in Atlanta, GA, organized by Vanguri foundation of
America.
