Further developments.
1. On popular request and in the spirit of 'downsizing' which is sweeping
through the country, not to mention the Federal Govt (what, you are saying
that I work for the said FG - I warned you not mention it!), I am
requesting that the list be re-sized to another completely arbitrary, but
not random, number of 10. If your list is 20, that is fine too. But
definitely no less than 10.
2. I'll wait until the last Friday of this month, before looking at the
submissions. In my juno.com account, I won't read the mail, if it has the
subject listing of "Great Books", until then. Please don't use that subject
heading for any other inquiries.
Just a reminder: Please send these to:

with the subject heading: GREAT BOOKS
A query. Any volunteers with a cray computer, to tabulate the entries?
