Jokes aside, does the LP Record follow the stage play or the movie
track?

As far as I know the LP record is a Stage version. But the problem was
they used to change dialogues such that they fit to the local conditions 
Such as Anakapalli Bellam Dimmala Dharalaga.... (another such paly that
became very famous with such local dialogues is Raktha Kanneeru).
Very few people knwew the original dialogues. I have a personal copy
of Chintamani.

PS: I saw the movie "varuDu kAvAli" *ing bhAnumati. It is simply hilarious.
I was told that the story line is taken from a spanish story/novel 
"fabulous senorita". Anybody know of this spanish work, and if there is 
an english translation available?
