PALANA gaaru:
Thanks for your every effort on this net so far. This is my truthful
opinion from the bottom of the heart. (Though you said you do not follow
up, I still want to post this.)
Regarding the above you wrote, needless to say, I am of the same opinion.
Some where, some time, some crooked mental start exploiting the 'well
intended' 'phenomenon' or the 'process' to fit in the self interests
shamelessly and ruthlessly at the expense of the others. That stagnates the
system after a while and the poor and the common people could not come out
of it and keep looking for a saviour. The brave and kind-hearted
intellectual, who visualizes this feels for everybody (the helpless) brigs
up the fight. That is how a reformer 'uddhaaraka' will emerge out of the
same society to uplift everybody. Time and again, this is happening in the
history. That is why it is said at least one should 'uplift' one self, not
looking for someone, so that the system may not get rotten very soon. (It
is sad, but even 'Science' says that everything tends to go towards
'increasing disorderliness' gradually. May be this is applicable to humans
social life too.)
yadaa yadaahi dharmasya glaanirbhavati bhaarata
abhuthaana madharmasya tadaatmaanam sRjaamyaham (bhagavadgeeta)
Whenever, there is harm for the 'good', then I will bring out myself to
fight against the 'bad'.
Whoever, selflessly do something for the cause of the 'good', fit this at
anytime. God is none other than the selfless and truthful person.
Quite honestly, I feel Gandhi and Sri Sri on the same scale for this reason.
Probably, their methodology may be different, but the cause is the same.
More than anything, both were 'hard-core genuine' persons and 'they lived
for what they said'. This makes them very distinguished. (Of course,
personally I prefer the method of Gandhi, but absolutely no disagreement
with Sri Sri, especially for the cause he wrote poetry.)
Indeed, I know that Sri Sri in his 'will' asked that his dead body should
not be cremated and be donated to King George Hospital, Vizag in the
presence of 'atheists' for the benefit of the medical students. It reminds
me that in the good old days, the sinecere god-believers also used to get
their dead bodies drowned (by tying it to a big rock) into the sea, hoping
that they would serve as food for the creatures underneath the sea. So, it
is obvious, as long as one behaves like a 'true human', it practically does
not matter at all whether one believes in god or not.
I share your thoughts of mahaakavi 'jhaashuva' and enjoyed your posts very
much. I heard his 'khanDika' 'gabbilamu' is rated very high too. I have no
idea about it. Personally, I did not find it in your posts.
May I request you to please post it (gabbilamu) at least to me, if there is
any chance.
With sincere regards,
Prabhakar Vissavajjhala
