"On related note, are you aware of a compilation
of Narla's editorials published by Navodaya people
in mid-70s? We used to have this book at home, and
its stolen/never returned like many, many other
books. The title goes like _mooDu daSaabdaalu:
ennika chEsina sampaadakeeyaalu_."
Yes. In its preface, nArla gives an interesting
account of how the book got published. Apparently,
he never kept a copy of his editorials. The search
became international, and believe it or not, they
located his editorials (dating back to 40s and
50s) on microfiche archives in the Library of
Congress in Washington DC.
The level of care taken by celebrities (couldn't
think of a better word) is sometimes appalling.
One wonders if they care about their stuff as much
as their fans do.
